Promotional Activity Launch and Unexpected Circumstances
We launched our new user invitation activity today, where both inviters and invitees can receive a $100 Claude Code resource package reward. After the activity went live, the number of new users far exceeded our expectations, and simultaneously with the influx of users, our service experienced a network attack. (Our service has now been scaled up and restored)
Although our core API forwarding service remained available, some website functions were affected:
- User registration service
- Login functionality
- Built-in AI chat feature on the website
- Invitation-related services
Our Response Measures
Facing this situation, our technical team immediately began analyzing the cause of the failure and started working on solutions. We expanded our service cluster and optimized the code. Our service has now been fully restored, and we are continuing to monitor the situation.
Temporary Promotional Activity Adjustments
To restore service availability as quickly as possible and reduce server pressure, we have made the following temporary adjustments:
- Reward Amount Adjustment: Invitation rewards reduced from $100 to $20
- Email Suffix Restrictions: Limited the range of email suffixes that can enter invitation codes
We understand these adjustments may disappoint some users. We are working on a more comprehensive solution, which will be announced and implemented in the coming days.
Regarding Compensation Plan
We sincerely apologize to users who encountered issues during today's registration and usage. We are developing a compensation plan and will notify you through the following channels:
